Tristen Schabbel
Project Director/Architectural Designer
Tristen Schabbel received her Master of Architecture / Design from the University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign. She is a native of West Michigan, and after many years of work and travel outside of the state, is pleased to reside in Grand Haven. Prior to founding Lee Allen Homes, Tristen’s most recent project design experience at Integrated Architecture included work on the Hurwitz Residence, awarded the 2006 AIA Local and State Residential Honor Award, and MAREC – Michigan Alternative and Renewable Energy Center, GVSU’s first of it’s kind green building receiving a Gold LEED Certification along the shores of downtown Muskegon. Derrick L. Schabbel LEED® AP
Project Director
With over 25 years of experience serving West Michigan and the Lakeshore, he has managed the production of several hundred multiple and single family housing units, and has inspected 1000’s of residential and commercial properties. As an experienced Custom Home Builder and multi-family development Builder, he has a firm understanding of the latest building technologies, and energy efficient construction methods. Mr. Schabbel was the Manager for the CM team which completed the first LEED for Homes pilot project, and the first Green Built Communities development in the State of Michigan, which recently achieved a Silver LEED Certification.
