Victorian Country House Renovation South Haven, MI  The project called for the schematic design and design development for a contemporary victorian country house addition/remodel.  On the main level, the family requested a large vaulted family room addition with an indoor/outdoor fireplace, an enlarged master suite, a fully reworked and remodeled kitchen and laundry/back hall area, and a wrap around porch. On the second level, the owners requested a bedroom with walk-in closets for each of their 5 children, and a play/study area.   The walkout basement addition overlooks the Black River and would house guest quarters, and another family/game area.  The overall concept organizes the main living spaces around the heart of the home, the kitchen, and opens up the floor plan to take full advantage of the views of the black river and the countryside, while providing this family of seven some much sought after additonal living space.
